KENNETH D. WEIBRECHT

PERRYVILLE -- Kenneth "Kenny" D. Weibrecht, 40, of Perryville died Monday, Feb. 16, 1998, after falling from a barge into the Mississippi River near Chester, Ill. His body was recovered Friday, May 29, 1998.

He was born June 4, 1957, in Perry County, son of Edmune and Myrtle Cox Weibrecht. He worked as a welder for Southern Illinois Transfer.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville and Union 520-C.

He is survived by three sons, Shane, Wade and Bryce Weibrecht, all of Perryville; one daughter, Britney Weibrecht of Perryville; four brothers, Stanley, James and Glennon Weibrecht, all of Perryville, and Allen Weibrecht of Hannibal; three sisters, Marilyn Stortz and Doris Stueve, both of Perryville, and Penny Thompson of Georgia; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, the Rev. Jeffrey Lloyd officiating.
