Ronald "Keith" Sturm, 48, of Scott City died Friday, April 8, 2011, at his home.
He was born May 10, 1962, in Cape Girardeau, to Morris Junior and Laura Glen Biggs Sturm. He and Cynthia Darlene Pace were married Feb. 10, 1993, in Las Vegas. She preceded him in death March 15, 2002.
Keith was a deckhand with Luhr Brothers and Ingram Towing.
Survivors include two sons, Bryan Sturm of Scott City, Jamie Holder of Chaffee, Mo.; two daughters, Elisha Belt of Sikeston, Mo., Ashley Sturm of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Donald Sturm of Gordonville, William Sturm of Jackson, Charles and Pete Sturm of Scott City; two sisters, Janet Keesee and Mary Jo Rogers of Scott City; six grandchildren, Kristen and Aaron Sturm, Gavin and Abigail Cronenbold and Ashlynn and Mackenzie Holder.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and a grandson, Damien Ressel.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to service time Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Rennie Phillips officiating. Interment will be in Lightner Cemetery at a later date.
