Keith C. Heinrich, 59, of Nevada, Mo., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Sunday, April 24, 2011, at Nevada Regional Medical Center.
He was born April 2, 1952, in Oak Park, Ill., son of Clifford and Shirley Brach Heinrich.
Heinrich grew up in Bensonville and Elmhurst, Ill., and was a graduate of Tioga High School. He later graduated from DeKalb University in DeKalb, Ill.
He was a teacher most of his life, and had worked the past nine years at Sears in Cape Girardeau. He lived in Cape Girardeau the past 25 years until recently moving to Nevada.
Survivors include his spouse, David A. Taylor of the home; his father of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Bruce (Angela) Heinrich of Villa Park, Ill., Alan (Patricia) Heinrich of Savanna, Ill.; a sister-in-law, Carol Hartlipp of Centralia, Ill.; several nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; cousins; and five dogs.
He was preceded in death by his mother in 2006.
A remembrance for family and friends will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Delmonico's Restaurant, 2951 Old Orchard Road in Jackson.
Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada was in charge of arrangements.
