Keith Hargrave

Keith Hargrave, 59, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Monday, March 27, 2017, at Doctors Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Salem, Illinois.

He was born Feb. 8, 1958, in East Saint Louis, Illinois, to Franklin E. and Thelma Marie Harty Hargrave.

Keith graduated from Columbia High School in Columbia, Illinois, and attended Belleville Junior College. He worked for Save-A-Lot in Cahokia, Illinois.

He was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Survivors include his mother, Thelma Hargrave of Cape Girardeau; an aunt and an uncle, Janice Elledge and Wayne Hargrave, both of Puxico, Missouri; and a cousin, Larry Middleton of De Soto, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Bruce Hargrave; and two uncles, Dennis and Pete Hargrave.

There will be no visitation.

A graveside funeral service will be at 11 a.m. today at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
