Keith Edward Dowling, 33, of Aurora, Colo., died Friday, Dec. 31, 1993, in a single car accident near Denver, Colo.
He was born Jan. 19, 1960, in Cape Girardeau, son of Paul and Dolores Hohler Dowling.
Dowling attended St. Vincent's School, and graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1978. He played high school basketball, and had been involved in baseball, slow-pitch and karate. While in Cape Girardeau he had worked at Kroger and at Richardson Tire.
He moved to the Denver area about six years ago. He was assistant manager four years at Phar-Mor, and had been assistant manager at McFrugal the past six months. He was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Kayla Dowling of Aurora; his parents; a brother, Douglas Dowling, and a sister, Donna York, all of Cape Girardeau.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Ron Hoye will officiate, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.
