Survivors include her parents, Geri Ruschak and Micheal Thornton of Buncombe; paternal grandparents, Jack Thornton of Buncombe and Denise O'Brien of Chicago; maternal grandparents, Mary Ruschak of Vienna and Jerome Ruschak Jr. of Metropolis; paternal great-grandparents, John F. and Lawanda Thornton of Buncombe; maternal great-grandparents, John and Lois Kemp and Lulubelle and Jerome Ruschak Sr., all of Harvey, Ill..
