Kay Miller

Kay Louise Miller, 87, of Jackson passed away Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024, at Aspire Senior Living Care Center in Advance.

She was born July 28, 1936, in Edwardsville, Illinois, the daughter of Harold and Inez Daech Dalhaus.

Kay was a graduate of the nursing program at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She worked as an obstetric nurse at Southeast Hospital for many years. She finished her career with State of Missouri Division of Family Services.

She is survived by three children, including a son, Gregory (Carol) Miller of Jackson, and a daughter, Gena Davis of Cape Girardeau; grandchildren, Sidney, Kellie, Bradley, Misty and Cody; and great-grandchildren Cordelia, Morgan and Owen.

Kay was preceded in death by a daughter, Wendy Joy Miller; sister, Lana Hall; and her parents.

As per Kay's wishes, there will be no services.

Arrangements are by McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
