JACKSON, Mo. -- Funeral for Katherine "Kay" Davenport of Jackson will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. Jeanette Driscoll will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Fruitland, Mo.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Davenport, 75, died Thursday, March 22, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 15, 1925, at Troy, Mo., daughter of Jesse and Addie Hasselfeld Dunard. She and Charles Davenport were married Aug. 8, 1944. He died Feb. 1, 1985.
Davenport was a cook at Riverview High School in St. Louis 20 years. She moved to Jackson in 1980.
Survivors include a son, Michael Davenport of Jackson; two daughters, Sharlie Sarakas and Kathy Davenport of Jackson; two brothers, John Dunard of St. Peters, Mo., Donald Dunard of Troy; and a sister, Dorothy Chapman of Rush, Ky.
She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
