Kay D. Beard, 51, Jackson Route 2, died Monday, July 19, 1993, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born May 1, 1942, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Earl E. and Marcella Reynolds Jacobs. She and Darrell Beard were married Dec. 26, 1963, in St. Louis.
Beard was supervisor at SEMO Molding Co. eight years. She was a member of Christian Faith Fellowship Church in Scott City.
Survivors include her husband; stepmother, Johnnie Jacobs of Dallas, Texas; four brothers, Charles Jacobs of Austin, Texas, John Jacobs of Dallas, Richard Margrabe of Gordonville, Kevin Margrabe of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Jane Jones, Marilyn Evans and Debbie Greable of Cape Girardeau, and Barbara Arthur of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Mark Carbaugh will officiate, with burial in Zion Methodist Cemetery at Gordonville.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
