CAIRO, Ill. -- Katy Polston, 67, of Cairo died Friday, Aug. 2, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Cairo, the Daughters of Isabella, the Alter Guild of the church, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Polston of Cairo; a son, Barry Polston of Cairo; a brother, Robert Morrison of Mechanicsville, Va.; and a granddaughter, Krista Dyann Polston, also of Cairo.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the Barkett Funeral Chapel in Cairo, where Holy Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today.
Funeral mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. The Rev. Jerome Fortenberry will officiate, and burial will be in the U.S. National Cemetery at Mound City, Ill.
