KATHRYN STRAIN

Funeral service for Kathryn "Kat" Strain of Gilbertsville, Ky., will be held at 10 a.m. today at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel. Dr. Larry Gallamore will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the chapel from 8 a.m. to service time.

Strain, 83, died Monday, May 26, 1997, at her home. She was formerly of Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 4, 1913, at Vanduser, daughter of Henry and Mattie Robertson Alfultis. She married W. Engle Strain.

Strain had been a secretary at Kaddic-Gaither-Hardin Law Firm. She was a member of Central Methodist Church in Gilbertsville.

Survivors include her husband; and a brother, Robert Alfultis of Tacoma, Wash.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
