Kathryn Ochs

PERRYVILLE, Mo. — Mary "Kathryn" Ochs, 81, of Perryville died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008, at Lake Ozark Retirement Center in Osage Beach, Mo.

She was born May 7, 1927, at Yount, Mo., daughter of Albert and Myrtle Conrad Yount. She and Robert L. Ochs were married Jan. 13, 1946. He died Nov. 11, 1970.

Ochs retired as an assembler with International Shoe Co. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and its Lutheran Women's Missionary League, and Perry County Garden Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Myra Weber of Lake Ozark, Mo.; two sisters, Alice Stark of Perryville, Ruth Smith of Sunrise Beach, Mo.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 8:15 a.m. Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Thomas Handrick officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
