KATHOLEEN COOK

ADVANCE -- Funeral for Katholeen Cook will be held at 2 p.m. today at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield. The Rev. David Light will officiate, with burial in Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield.

Cook, 87, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 1998, in Advance.

She was born July 24, 1911, at Essex, daughter of Cleve and Edna Bledsoe DeJournett. She married Ernest Cook, who died in June 1986.

Cook had lived in the Advance and Bell City communities all her life.

Survivors include a brother, Alvin DeJournett of Advance; two sisters, Veda Teets of Advance, and Thelma Burchett of Warren, Mich.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.
