Kathleen Mason

Kathleen Jeanette Branham Mason, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born May 27, 1925, in Chattanooga, Tenn., daughter of Earl and Jeannie Bell Branham. She and Clyde Mason were married Jan. 1, 1948, in Arkansas.

She was a member of Red Star Baptist Church.

She is survived by four daughters, Patty Turner and Janet Edmondson, both of Cape Girardeau, and Judy Lynn and Penny Luttrel, both of Jackson; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, John Mason, a brother and two sisters.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Brian Anderson officiating.

Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
