Kathleen Chapman Holland, 89, of Little Rock, Ark., died Sunday, June 22, 2003, at her home.
She was born Oct. 14, 1913, in Port Royal, Ky. She and W.T. Holland were married in June 1942.
Her husband was pastor of First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau from 1959 to 1976, when they retired and moved to Little Rock.
She was a co-founder of Friendship International of Little Rock, an interfaith mission where people of every nation can learn English and other skills and receive child care.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Holland of Boston, Mass., Debby Diaz of Little Rock; a son, Thomas Chapman of Fox, Ark.; and a granddaughter.
A memorial service was held June 26 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock.
Roller-Chenal Funeral Home in Little Rock was in charge of arrangements.
