Kathleen E. Rudert John, age 83, of Rogers, AR, formerly of Cape Girardeau, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3, 1998 at Rogers Rehab & Living Ct.
She was born June 5, 1915, in Cape Girardeau, to Benjamin and Carolyn LaCroix Rudert. She was educated at St. Mary's School and graduated from Central High School. She served state side in the Women's Auxiliary Corp during World War II.She married Malvern G. John at the old St. Francis Hospital parlor in Cape Girardeau in October, 1948. She loved to fish and won record fishing trophies.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Benjamin G. "Butch" and Jana John of Jackson, MS; one sister, Evelyn Wolfe, and one brother, Jean Rudert, both of Cape Girardeau.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, 1998 at St. Mary's Cemetery, Father Randy Tochtrop officiating.
Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
