ADVANCE, Mo. -- Kathleen Calvert, 92, of Advance died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2007, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 1, 1915, at Eminence, Mo., daughter of James and Lucinda Gale Marquies. She and Donald Calvert were married May 13, 1950, in Collinsville, Ill. He died Nov. 25, 1997.
Calvert was a small arms worker in St. Louis during World War II. She was a charter member of First General Baptist Church in Advance. She was formerly of Granite City, Ill., and a former member of Mount Zion General Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Debra Armitage and Donna Francis of Chaffee, Mo., Jean Martin of Flagstaff, Ariz.; a stepdaughter, Kathy Miller of Buda, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Morgan Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mike Grant officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Belleville, Ill.
