MARQUAND -- Myrtle Kathern "Kat" Venable, 79, of Marquand died Monday, Oct. 21, 1996, at her home.

She was born Aug. 24, 1917, at Marquand, daughter of Ernest and Esther Haman. She and Roy M. Venable were married Sept. 23, 1956, in Tucson, Ariz. He preceded her in death.

Venable was a member of Marquand United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three brothers, Ernest, Robert and Vernon Haman of Marquand; two sisters, Dorothy Whitener of Marquand and Jane DeSpain of Tucson.

Friends may call at Follis-Sonderman Funeral Home in Fredericktown after 5 p.m. today, and Friday at Marquand Methodist Church from 11 a.m. to service time.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the church, with Clark Sitze officiating. Burial will be in Whitener Cemetery.
