PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Katherine M. Sadler, 70, of Bloomsdale, Mo., formerly of Perryville, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Crystal City, Mo. She was born June 27, 1936, in Perryville, daughter of Bertrand G. and Frances McCauley Besand. She and James S. Sadler were married Nov. 19, 1955...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Katherine M. Sadler, 70, of Bloomsdale, Mo., formerly of Perryville, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Crystal City, Mo.

She was born June 27, 1936, in Perryville, daughter of Bertrand G. and Frances McCauley Besand. She and James S. Sadler were married Nov. 19, 1955.

Survivors include a son, James Sadler of Bloomsdale; two daughters, Tina Ringwald of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., Lori Braun of Bloomsdale; three brothers, Gilbert, Clyde and Kenny Besand of Perryville; two sisters, Mary Kephart of Kearney, Mo., Ruthie Basler of Perryville; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Church of Ste. Genevieve, with the Rev. Daniel Mosley officiating. Burial will be in Valle Spring Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve.

Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve is in charge of arrangements.
