Katherine F. Mann, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019, at her home. She was born Dec. 27, 1929, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, to Harrison Henson and Pearl Fowler. She and Henry F. Mann were married April 7, 1951, at Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death Feb. 11, 2005...

Katherine F. Mann, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019, at her home.

She was born Dec. 27, 1929, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, to Harrison Henson and Pearl Fowler. She and Henry F. Mann were married April 7, 1951, at Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death Feb. 11, 2005.

She was a St. Louis Cardinals and Blues fan and was an avid reader.

She was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Anna (Nick) Powers of Tierra Verde, Florida; a son, Jackie (Jane Bridges) Mann of Sunset Hills, Missouri; two sisters, Shirley Patterson and Betty (Arlin) Sweet, both of New Madrid, Missouri; two grandchildren, Sara (Justin) Richardson of Moscow Mills, Missouri, and Justin (Julie) Mann of Arnold, Missouri; four great-grandchildren, Brett and Logan Richardson and Nathaniel and Gabriel Mann; many beloved nieces and nephews, including Lisa (Charles) Brown of Jackson and Brenda Fuller of New Madrid; and her beloved pug, Odie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister, Mae Hartmann.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Weston Wildauer officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
