The infant died shortly after birth Thursday, April 19, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include her parents, James Luther "Luke" and Audra Byrne Thurman of Sikeston; paternal grandparents, James and Peggy Thurman of Sikeston; maternal grandparents, Robert L. and Debbie Byrne of Charleston, Mo.; paternal great-grandparents, Dola Thurman and James and Martha Tanner, all of Sikeston; maternal great-grandparents, Robert Byrne and Johnnie and Jennie Chronister, all of Charleston.

She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandfather and maternal great-grandmother.
