PERRYVILLE -- Karl H. Oswald, 80, of Perryville, died Saturday, Jan. 18, 1992 at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville
He was born Oct. 12, 1911, at Friedenburg, Mo., son of Louis and Emily Buettner Oswald.
He was a general contractor and carpenter.
He was married to Elda M. Frentzel on Sept. 10, 1939. She survives.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, where he served as financial secretary.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 133 and the Disabled Veterans (DAV) of Perryville.
He was a life long member of the PEACE Lutheran Church in Friendenburg, and was instrumental in keeping the church open through the Concordia Historical Society.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville from 3;30 to 9 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Monday.
Service will be held at the Immanuel Lutheran Church at 10 a.m. Monday with Rev. Donald Loesch officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
