Kari Ann Goodwin Williams, 61, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Jan. 16, 2023, at her home.

She was born July 5, 1961, in Glendale, California, to Allen G. Lloyd and Lynda Vliet.

She was a graduate of Western High School Class of 1979 in Las Vegas, and attended the University of Utah and University of Nevada-Las Vegas.

She worked as an account executive for US Bank/Elavon.

Kari was a devoted mother, beloved aunt, loving sister and loyal friend. She loved her family. In her spare time, enjoyed old movies, reading, gardening and working on her home.

Survivors include a son, Adam Cromer of Cape Girardeau; mother, Lynda Goodwin of Las Vegas; sisters, Katy DiFranco of Henderson, Nevada, and Stacey Wathen of Foothill Ranch, California; brothers, Michael Goodwin of Las Vegas and Jeffrey Lloyd of Cape Girardeau; and several nieces and nephews.

Kari was preceded in death by her father, Allen G. Lloyd; stepmother, Jacqueline C. Lloyd; and adoptive father, David Goodwin.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 1001 N. Mount Auburn Road in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary, 359 Cree Lane, Jackson, MO 63755.
