Karen Sue Schaefer, 60, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 8, 1960, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Walter B. and Jean B. Friedrich Schaefer.
Karen was loved by everyone and will be missed by many.
Loving survivors include two sons, Zachary (friend, Tonya Mallory) Priest of Jackson and Dylan "Dite" Wilkinson of Pasadena, California; two daughters, MacKenzie Wilkinson of Cape Girardeau and Alicia Robison of Grand Junction, Colorado; and two grandsons, Tyler and Jacob Robison.
Also surviving are five siblings, Ken (Kate) Schaefer of Cape Girardeau, Joe (Connie) Schaefer of St. Peters, Missouri, Jim (Cindy) Schaefer of Barnhart, Missouri, Eddie Schaefer of Perryville, Missouri and Theresa (Dan) Ho of Plainfield, Illinois; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three adult siblings and two younger siblings.
Final arrangements by McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
The family suggests that contributions be made to American Cancer Society.
