Karen McCain, 55, of Delta passed away Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016, at the family home. She was born Sept. 6, 1961, in Cape Girardeau to Charles and Barbara Hurst Drew. She married Howard McCain on Nov. 26, 2003, and he survives of the home. Karen was a graduate of Delta High School and Metro Business College and attended Southeast Missouri State University. Karen McCain, 55, of Delta passed away Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016, at the family home.

She was born Sept. 6, 1961, in Cape Girardeau to Charles and Barbara Hurst Drew. She married Howard McCain on Nov. 26, 2003, and he survives of the home.

Karen was a graduate of Delta High School and Metro Business College and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Church of Randles.

Survivors include her parents; husband, Howard McCain of Delta; a son, Holt (Phoenix) Horrell of Sikeston, Missouri; stepdaughter, Brandy (Eric) Mason of Paducah, Kentucky; stepson, Justin McCain of Paducah; a brother, Brian (Kim) Drew of Delta; and two stepgrandchildren, Sara and Nathan Mason of Paducah.

Karen also leaves behind several aunts and uncles, Steve and Penny Hurst of Yuma, Arizona, Laura Hurst of Cape Girardeau, Nadas Drew of Vanduser, Missouri, Verlene Drew of Naperville, Illinois, and Vivian Brown of Delta. She also leaves cousins, Pam, Matt and Betsy, Suellen, Debbie, Kathy and Bennett Joe, Terri Lynn, Louis and Ramey Joe, Lissa, Donnie and Jeff.

Karen will be greatly missed by many friends, several of whom she considered family members. She will be remembered for her loving and unselfish giving of time to help anyone in need.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Missouri, with the Rev. Don Leggett officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, near Morley, Missouri.
