Karen Kennedy

OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- A memorial service for Karen J. Kennedy of Olive Branch will be held at 10 a.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill.

Kennedy, 61, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001, at her home.

She was born July 3, 1940, in Tamms, daughter of Clyde and Anna May Dillman Tatum Sr. She married Lee Kennedy, who preceded her in death.

Kennedy had worked at General Electric in De Kalb, Ill.

Survivors include a son, Gary Collins of Thebes; two daughters, Lee Ann Kennedy of De Kalb, Lennie Hayes of LaFollette, Tenn.; three brothers, Clyde Tatum Jr. of Tamms, Billy Tatum of Thebes, Ill., Leroy Tatum of East Cape Girardeau, Ill.; a sister, Kathryn Provow of West Plains, Mo.; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and two sisters.
