CHAFFEE -- Junior Lee Burton, 63, of 325 Helen in Chaffee died Saturday, May 16, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born April 22, 1929, at London, Ark., the son of the late Joe Hampton Burton and Maggie Ann Cochran Dodd, who survives of Chaffee.
On July 16, 1953, he married Wanda Folk, who survives of the home. He was a retired exterminator and owner of Burton's Low-Cost Pest Control.
Other survivors include his step-father, Cleve Dodd of Chaffee; three sons, Joey Burton of Poplar Bluff, and Junior Lee and Chris Burton, both of Chaffee; two daughters, Shelby Jean Sullivan of Matthews and Susan Slinkard of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Herbert Burton and Gene Dodd, both of Morley, and Marvin Burton of Benton; two sisters, Mildred Senciboy of rural Chaffee and Mamie Cowger of Sikeston; and nine grandchildren.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. D.R. Heitmen will officiate, and burial will be in the Matthews City Cemetery.
