CACHE, Ill. -- Junior Clarence Vollintine, 61, of Cache, died Wednesday, June 12, 1991, at his home. He was formerly of Wood River.
He was born Dec. 27, 1929, in Edwardsville, son of Francis Clarence and Mabel Wall Vollintine. He and the former Gladys Sanders were married Feb. 15, 1991, in Barlow, Ky.
Vollintine was employed by Ideal Towing Services in Wood River a number of years, and was a member of Moose Lodge 1349 in Wood River.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Rick Vollintine of Wood River; a daughter, Sally Vollintine of Bethalto; three stepsons, Gary Stevens of Dallas, Texas, Larry Stevens of Jackson, Mo., Terry Stevens of Rock Falls; three stepdaughters, Teresa Glass of Oregon, Mary Skipper of Jackson, Wis., Louise Jones of Louisiana; two sisters, Beverly Ludwig of Maroa, Esther Wantanen of Lexington, Ky.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren, and two great-stepgrandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Chapel in Tamms. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Olive Branch.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
