CHAFFEE -- Mrs. Junia O. Rains, 85, of Chaffee, died Sunday, May 5, 1991, at Chaffee Nursing Center. She was born April 7, 1906, in Watts, Ark., daughter of Harmon D. and Alcedine Watts Barnes. She married Blain Rains Aug. 8, 1926. He died Sept. 24, 1972...

CHAFFEE -- Mrs. Junia O. Rains, 85, of Chaffee, died Sunday, May 5, 1991, at Chaffee Nursing Center.

She was born April 7, 1906, in Watts, Ark., daughter of Harmon D. and Alcedine Watts Barnes. She married Blain Rains Aug. 8, 1926. He died Sept. 24, 1972.

Survivors include two sons, Dwain Rains of Chaffee, Samuel Rains of Sikeston; three daughters, Vena Nelson of Yuba City, Calif., Wanda Johns of Oran, Tula Eskew of Winona; two sisters, Kate Branum and Elba Griffin of Yuba City; 17 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Glendle Rains.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Rev. William Marshall will officiate, with burial in Union Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4:30 p.m. today.
