Junell Marcell Parrett, 58, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, May 1, 2020, at her home.
She was born May 18, 1961, in Los Angeles to Elvin Earl Sr. and Ruth Naomi Adams Ladd. She married Richard Parrett, who preceded her in death April 10, 2010.
She was a 1979 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School and attended ITT Technical College.
She was a photography enthusiast and loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include one daughter, Danielle Michielle Keith of Cape Girardeau; one son, Nathin Thomas McFarland of De Soto, Missouri; two sisters, Vanessa Lowell of Cape Girardeau and Glinda Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Elvin “Earl” (Donna) Ladd Jr.; and one grandchild, Kaitlyne Lee Garrity. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother, Elwin Dearle Ladd; and three sisters, Beverly Adams, Stephanie Thompson and Misty Flannigan.
With COVID-19 restrictions in place, a visitation for family and their guests will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
Memorial contributions may be given to Make a Wish Foundation or to the charity of one’s choice.
