June Stubbs

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- June Stubbs, 76, of Fenton, Mo., died Monday, March 17, 2008, at Cori Manor in Fenton.

She was born May 5, 1931, at Chaffee, daughter of Burett and Ruby Kindred Schultz. She and Eugene Stubbs were married Nov. 8, 1952. He died Nov. 26, 1990.

Stubbs was a teacher with Chaffee and Delta School Districts. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Neil Stubbs of St. Louis; a sister, Joan Spencer of Chaffee; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Vyron Yount officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
