ULLIN, Ill. -- June Reagan, 79, of Ullin passed away Sunday, March 13, 2005, at St. Louis University Medical Center in St. Louis.
June was born Dec. 30, 1925, in Ullin, daughter of George and Luretta Watkins. She and Ray V. Reagan, who survives her, were married June 2, 1946.
A lifelong resident of Ullin, June was an active member of Cross Road United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher, musician, and member of the official board.
She also served as president of the Civic Club, was a beautician, and lectured 32 years for Weight Watchers International with classes in Carbondale, Ill., Cape Girardeau, Cairo, Ill., Anna, Ill., Shawnee Community College, and other sites.
She is survived by her husband, Ray; a daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Gerald Sims of Ullin; a granddaughter, Buffy Lee and Brad McLaughlin of Lake St. Louis, Mo.; two great-grandchildren, Collin and Ellary McLaughlin of Lake St. Louis; a stepgranddaughter, Gina and Doug Dirnberger of Scott City, Mo.; two stepgrandchildren, Sydnee and Connor Dirnberger of Scott City; a sister, Mary E. (Ebby) Day of Ullin; a niece, Brenda and Louie King of Ullin; several other nieces and nephews.
Friends may call after 9 a.m. Wednesday at Cross Road United Methodist Church.
The funeral will follow at 11 a.m. at the church, with the Rev. Pete Vinson officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge, Ill.
