June F. Martin Baugh Black, 85, of Jackson passed away Friday, Dec. 4, 2020, at Monticello House because of complications of COVID-19. She was born March 12, 1935, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Richard C. and Addie L. Atkins Martin. She and Robert L. Baugh were married March 15, 1953. He passed away Oct. 28, 1985. She then married Robert Richard "Bob" Black on Aug. 7, 1999. He passed away July 16, 2014...

June F. Martin Baugh Black, 85, of Jackson passed away Friday, Dec. 4, 2020, at Monticello House because of complications of COVID-19.

She was born March 12, 1935, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Richard C. and Addie L. Atkins Martin. She and Robert L. Baugh were married March 15, 1953. He passed away Oct. 28, 1985. She then married Robert Richard "Bob" Black on Aug. 7, 1999. He passed away July 16, 2014.

June was a 1953 graduate of Jackson High School, and a former member of First Baptist Church in Jackson, and a current member of the Church of Christ in Jackson. She enjoyed square dancing and was a member of the Hilltoppers and the Rollaways. June and her first husband, Bob, operated Dairy Queen in Jackson during the 1970s. Later, she was an office worker at Eagle Oil Co.

Loving survivors include two sons, Clyde (Cheryl) Baugh of St. Louis and Stephen (Theresa) Baugh of Jackson; a sister, Ann Fields of Jackson; a sister-in-law, "Babs" Martin; seven grandchildren, Joshua, Elizabeth and Allison Baugh, Emilie (Mike) Gregert, Madalyn Baugh, Gabe (Alicia) Baugh and Maggie (Geoff) Enders; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to two husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia "Patty" Baugh; a son, Robert "Bobby" Baugh; a sister, Mary Zeller; and a brother, Jim Martin.

The funeral and burial services will be private. A celebration of life will be planned in her honor at a later date.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the church or charity of donor's choice.
