JACKSON -- Julius Joseph Spooner, 89, of Jackson, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 18, 1906, in Chicago, son of Julius and Julia Carlin Spooner. He and Audrey J. Davis were married Sept. 1, 1934, in Fort Smith, Ark.
Spooner retired from Brown and Root Construction Co. in 1971.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, LaDonna Harris of Jackson, Sandra Kimbrough of Dallas, Texas, and two grandsons.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 5-9 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
