Michael, daughter of the late James and JoAnn Stewart, was born April 17, 1963, in Cameron, Missouri, and departed her life Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau at the age of 60 years. She was an honors graduate from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau with a bachelor's degree in nursing. BENTON, Mo. — Julie E. Michael, daughter of the late James and JoAnn Stewart, was born April 17, 1963, in Cameron, Missouri, and departed her life Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau at the age of 60 years.
She was an honors graduate from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau with a bachelor's degree in nursing. Julie was an employee of Southeast Hospital going on 25 years and a resident of Benton.
On Sept. 14, 2006, she was united in marriage to Joseph Lee Michael. Joe survives of the home in Benton.

Besides her husband, survivors include one stepson, Trevor (Kim) Michael of Cape Girardeau; stepdaughter, Suzanne (Greg) Innis of Eads, Tennessee; two stepgrandchildren, Kaylyn Michael and Collin Fraley; two brothers; and one sister.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City will assist in arrangements.
