Julie Ann Finley, 62, of Cape Girardeau died peacefully at her home Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014, after losing her battle with brain cancer.
She was born Nov. 7, 1951, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, to Harry and Martha Perry Ivester. She married Jerry Raymond Finley on Oct. 20, 1984, in Commerce, Missouri.
He preceded her in death July 30, 2009.
She had worked as a RN at Landmark Hospital, Southeast Hospital and Saint Francis Medical Center. She was a member of Maple United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau.
She is survived by two sons, Jason (Judy) Wilde of Fruitland and Tim (Krystal) Finley of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Melanie Wilde of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Greg Ivester of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Fran Johnson of Morley, Missouri; four grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alexander, Laila and Brielle; and a great-grandchild, Rylie Grace.
A memorial visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of service Thursday at the Maple United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau.
A memorial service will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the church.
