SCOTT CITY -- Julia Madeline Noon, 72, of Scott City, died Wednesday, March 4, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 17, 1919 in Parsons, Kan., daughter of Walter A. and Elizabeth Haley Smith.
She married Oral F. Noon on Feb. 17, 1944. He survives.
Other survivors are one son, Jim Noon of Scott City; three daughters, Judy Kurtz, Pam Cummins and Debbie Short all of Scott City; one sister, Louise McMullen of Parsons; and 15 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, one sister and one grandchild.
Friends may call today after 4 p.m. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral service will be Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Scott City with the Rev. Roger Leveillee officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.
