PARMA -- Julia K. Parker McDonald, 89, of Parma died Friday, June 23, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born April 4, 1906, at Starett, Ala., daughter of John and Sarah Francess Armstrong Singleton. She and James E. Parker were married on March 24, 1924. He preceded her in death on June 15, 1955. Then on Aug. 8, 1959, she and John F. McDonald were married. He preceded her in death on Sept. 24, 1973.
McDonald lived in the Parma area since 1918. She was a charter member of the Church of God in Parma.
Survivors include five daughters, Margie E. Reinharot and Erma Gregory, of Granite City, Ill., Frances J. Kirk and Sarah P. Hewson, of Miami, and Alma Brock of Fennville, Mich.; two sons, T.J. Parker of Kennett and Wilburn E. Parker of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at 6 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Church of God in Parma, with the Rev. Carl O'Dell officiating. Burial will be in the Parma City Cemetery.
