Funeral service for Julia Ann Tackett of Cape Girardeau will be held at 10 a.m. today at St. Mary's Cathedral, with Monsignor Richard Rolwing officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.

Friends may call at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel from 8-9:30 a.m.

Tackett, 88, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 1995, at Cape Girardeau Nursing Center.

She was born Nov. 29, 1907, in Marquand, daughter of Albert Noah and Emma Elizabeth Strickland.

Tackett taught school in Zalma 25 years, beginning in the early 1930s. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and its Council of Catholic Women.

Survivors include nieces, nephews and cousins.
