CAIRO, Ill. -- Judy White, 71, of Cairo died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at her home.
She was born Oct. 28, 1927, in Cairo, daughter of Ernest and Martha Parker Chrestman. She married William W. White.
White attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.
She had been a private piano and organ instructor. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, and was organist and choir director at the church until retiring in 1998.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Suzy Davis of Slidell, La., Ellie Nixon of Villa Ridge; two sons, Clay White of Mounds, Jim White of Cairo; her mother of Mounds; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Thursday.
Funeral Mass will be at noon Thursday at St. Patrick's Church. The Rev. Jerome Fortenberry will officiate. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge.
