Judy Kennedy, daughter of the Edward Pawlak and Wilma Pawlak was born on March 13, 1945, in St. Louis and departed this life peacefully surrounded by family at her residence in Scott City on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020 at the age of 75 years.
Kennedy was a former Medical Technician for Alternative Opportunities Assistant Living, member of the First Assembly of God Church in Scott City and a member of the Elks Ladies Auxiliary 639 in Cape Girardeau.
On Feb. 16, 1996, she was united in marriage to Jerry Wayne Kennedy in Cape Girardeau. He passed away on Nov. 16, 2018.
Survivors include four sons, Marcus Griggs of Scott City, Scott Allen (Donna) Griggs of Dennison, Texas, Chris (Tracy) Griggs of Miner, Missouri, and Jerry (Marla) Kennedy II of Patton, Missouri; one daughter, Teri Gentry of Scott City; one brother, Daniel Pawlak of Fenton, Missouri; two sisters, Pat Pinkerton and Betty Wilson, both of St. Louis; a loving niece, Michelle Griggs of Oran, Missouri; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at a later date with Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City conducting arrangements.
