Judith Ann “Judy” Fernandez, 72, of Scott City died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, at the Estates of Perryville in Perryville, Missouri.

She was born April 4, 1945, in St. Charles, Missouri, to Lloyd Franklin and Geraldine Gottlob Dunn. She married Vincent Fernandez on May 27, 1988, in Wickliffe, Kentucky.

Judy worked at the Blue Hole BBQ, Ely Walker and later at Blair Industries.

She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Scott City.

She is survived by her husband, Vince Fernandez; a daughter, Melissa (Dave) Cherry of Scott City; two sisters, Cheryl (Bob) Mooney of Fredericktown, Missouri, and Carol (Terry) Bollinger of Ashburn, Virginia; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Keith Patterson; and a brother, Terry Dunn.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
