ADVANCE, Mo. -- Julia Anna "Judy" Beussink, 82, of Advance passed away Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017, at Advance Assisted Living.
She was born Feb. 16, 1935, in Leopold, Missouri, the daughter of Henry and Willomena Schmitt. She and Paul Beussink were united in marriage Oct. 23, 1954, in Leopold, and he preceded her in death April 18, 2014.
Judy was self employed at the family business, Advance Food Locker, until her retirement.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Nothing brought more joy to her than her grandchildren, Derek, Jack, Keera and Kaylen.
Survivors include two sons, Richard (Debbie) Beussink of Advance and Randy (Chris) Beussink of St. Louis; two grandchildren, Derek (Cindy) and Jack; and two great-grandchildren, Keera and Kaylen.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Beussink; and a grandson, Aaron.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
A funeral Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Advance, with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop officiating. Burial will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph's PCCW.
