Judy Aslin, 60, of Jackson passed away Thursday, June 11, 2020, at her home.
She was born March 6, 1960, in Sikeston, Missouri, the daughter of William and Juanita Stuckey South. She and Richard Aslin were married July 20, 1979.
Judy was a 1978 graduate of Richland High School in Essex, Missouri. She held a bachelor's degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University and a master's degree in nursing from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky.
Since 1983, Judy had served in the positions of nurse assistant, staff nurse, assistant nurse manager and nurse manager of the oncology unit, Southeast Hospice nurse manager and administrator and home care services administrator at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She had been the director of patient care services and executive director of the Southeast Cancer Center. Judy retired as vice president and chief nursing officer at the hospital.
Loving survivors include her husband of nearly 41 years, Richard Aslin of Jackson; daughter, Casi Jo (Andrew Worrall) Aslin of Columbia, Missouri; granddaughter, Lydia Worrall; and siblings, Jamie South, Tom South, Janet South, Mary Ann Meisel and Linda Chitwood.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Randy South.
There will be no services.
