Judy A. DeSmidt, 59, of Capitola, Calif., died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 1995, at Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz, Calif.

She was born Jan. 11, 1936, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Curtis E. and Mary L. Bretch Ische. She and Le Roy DeSmidt were married March 2, 1956, in Hernando, Miss.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Le Roy DeSmidt Jr. of Loomis, Calif., Michael DeSmidt of Aptos, Calif., Mark DeSmidt of Chandler, Ariz.; a daughter, Teresa DeSmidt of Capitola; a brother, Curtis Ische of Maplewood, and four grandchildren.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from noon-1 p.m. Friday.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Neil Stein officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
