Judith Ann Sinn, 76, of Scott City, formerly of Buford, Georgia, passed away peacefully Monday, Dec. 18, 2017, in her home, surrounded by love ones. Judith Ann Sinn, 76, of Scott City, formerly of Buford, Georgia, passed away peacefully Monday, Dec. 18, 2017, in her home, surrounded by love ones.

She was born May 26, 1941, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of John T. "Bingo" Morris and Nadine B. Summerlin Giles. She is the former wife of James "Jim" Sinn of Egypt Mills.

Judith worked with her father, who owned Bingo Bar-B-Q in Cape Girardeau, and then carried on to work for Old McDonalds and her mother's bakery, Buford Bakery in Buford. At the time of her death, she was retired, enjoying time with her family and friends.

She is survived by one brother, John (Linda) Morris Jr. of Cape Girardeau; sister-in-law, Jacqueline Morris, wife of the late Ronald Morris, of Pensacola, Florida; one daughter, Tammy Arrington of Buford; one son, David Sinn of Buford; grandchildren, Timothy Sinn Jr., Teisha Mayberry, Tashina Sinn, Tonya Sinn and Sonya Sinn, all of Scott City, and Wesley and Johnny Arrington of Buford; and many great-grandchildren; along with her two fur babies, Baby-Boy and Scooter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Morris; her sister, Roseanna Rose; her nephew, Wade Rose; and her beloved son, Timothy Sinn Sr.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Assembly of God in Scott City, with Brother Randy Morris officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
