Judith Ann Singleton, 68, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011, at her home.
She was born April 26, 1942, at Cape Girardeau, to Thomas Woodrow and Lavern Alta Griffaw Fitzgerald.
She and James L. Singleton were married Nov. 9, 1965, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death Aug. 25, 1984.
She was a member of St. Mary Cathedral. a volunteer for Red Cross, a Girl Scouts leader for four years, and has been back in Cape since 1983.
Survivors include her son, James Thomas Singleton of Los Angeles; daughter, Tara Singleton of Statham, N.H.; brothers Tom Fitzgerald of Cape Girardeau and Jerry Fitzgerald of Gordonville; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son Mark Singleton in 1992.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the chapel with Father Tom Kiefer officiating.
Burial will follow at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
