Judith Mae Menz, 64, of Scott City passed away Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 21, 1947, in Cape Girardeau, to Everett Harold and Virginia Mae Heisserer Wylder.
Judith had worked at Western Sizzlin Steak House and Colonial Bread in Cape Girardeau many years, and at Ely Walker. She was a kind and loving person to all who knew her.
She is survived by a son, Jerry (Tonya) Menz of Scott City; three sisters, Joyce Smith of Scott City, Wilma (Lonnie) Stubenrauch of Advance, Mo., Pat (Bob) LeDure of Commerce, Mo.; loving grandmother to Dylan and Dawson Menz; and also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Oliver Clavin officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
