McCLURE, Ill. -- Judith Ann (Miller) Gibbar, 58, of McClure died at 6:30 a.m. Friday at the home of her mother in Olive Branch, Ill. She was born May 8, 1945 at Cairo, Ill., the daughter of Sidney Gerald and Ruby Farris Miller. She was married on Oct. 8, 1982, to Leon Gibbar...

McCLURE, Ill. -- Judith Ann (Miller) Gibbar, 58, of McClure died at 6:30 a.m. Friday at the home of her mother in Olive Branch, Ill.

She was born May 8, 1945 at Cairo, Ill., the daughter of Sidney Gerald and Ruby Farris Miller. She was married on Oct. 8, 1982, to Leon Gibbar.

Judy was a member and Sunday school teacher at East Cape Baptist Church. She worked for 40 years as secretary and bookkeeper at Egyptian School and was currently serving as secretary of the Alexander County Building Committee.

Survivors include her husband, Leon Gibbar of McClure; her mother, Ruby Miller of Olive Branch; sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Roger Rudluff of McClure; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Dixie Miller of Anna, Ill.; niece Tonia Sissom; nephews, Roger Lee Rudluff, Scott Miller and Shawn Miller; great-nieces, Synde Miller, Beatryss Miller, Michele Sissom, Brady Rudluff; great-nephew, Hunter Rudluff; and many other friends and relatives.

Funeral services for Judith Ann (Miller) Gibbar will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 23, at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill., with Rev. Bill Whitener and Rev. Earnest Brown officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.
