Funeral service for Judge Glenn Edward White, Doniphan Route 5, will be held at 1 p.m. today at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The Rev. Wade Rogers will officiate, with burial in Doniphan Cemetery.
White, 72, was pronounced dead on arrival Saturday, June 25, 1994, at Ripley County Memorial Hospital in Doniphan.
He was born Aug. 20, 1921, in St. Louis. White and the former Garnet Hunt were married Jan. 15, 1956, in Doniphan.
White received a bachelor of journalism degree from the University of Missouri, and then became editor of Willow Springs News. He received his bachelor of law degree from Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tenn.
He was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 1951. White served as assistant prosecuting attorney in Butler County, and served 29 years as associate law judge in the Division of Workmen's Compensation in Cape Girardeau.
White was a member of the Lutheran Church, and life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He served in the U.S. Marine Air Corps during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, and a sister, Dolores Zahner of Poplar Bluff.
